The Last Poets are a legendary ensemble of poets and jazzmen based in Harlem, New York, who were born out of the black civil rights movement in the 1960's. With their powerful and political lyrics and their spare rhythms, they are considered to be the godfathers of Hip Hop. Their legend and their continuing performances have established them as an enduring force in American culture. A percentage of each jumper sold goes to the Poets, I am proud to be collaborating with them.
